Meet Our Pastor

Tom Getchell-Lacey

 

Pastor Tom grew up in the Chicago area, but has been living in New England for the past 40 years.   He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and received his ministerial training at  Harvard Divinity School.   Ordained in 1988, he has served churches in New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Massachusetts,  most recently serving the Parkway United Methodist Church in Milton, MA. He and his wife Wendy have two grown children, Emily (31) and Daniel (26).   In his spare time, Tom enjoys reading, playing guitar, traveling, and walking on the beach.  Having served the First United Methodist Church of Amesbury in the 90's, Tom and Wendy are delighted to be returning to the Merrimack Valley, the home of Hodgie's Ice Cream!
